What is FIRE Calculator?
Calculates your target assets (monthly spending × 12 ÷ safe withdrawal rate) from what you'll need to live on in retirement, then simulates year by year when you'll get there from your current assets, monthly savings, return and savings growth. It also works out how much you'd need to save each month to get there in 15 or 20 years.

FAQ
What is the 4% rule?+
It comes from research (the Trinity Study) showing that withdrawing 4% of your retirement assets each year is very likely to last 30+ years. Required assets ≈ annual spending × 25.
