Privacy Policy
KAMU Studio (“we”) respects the privacy of Dogu Expedition users and keeps the information we handle to a minimum.
1. Information we handle
Dogu Expedition has no accounts, and we do not ask for personal information such as your name, email or phone number.
- Files and input you put into tools: processed only inside your browser and never sent to or stored on our servers.
- Currency converter: fetches the latest rates from a public exchange-rate API (open.er-api.com). The amounts you enter are not sent.
- Some tools (video/audio processing, text recognition, Japanese/Chinese PDF fonts) download a processing engine or font file from the jsDelivr CDN the first time you use them. Your files and input are not sent.
- Usage statistics: anonymous statistics such as page views are collected with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.
- Access logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep access logs, including IP addresses, for a limited time for security and reliable operation. Your country is used only to choose the display language on your first visit and is not stored by us.
2. Information stored in your browser
- Language choice: a cookie that remembers the language you picked (NEXT_LOCALE, 1 year)
- Convenience features: recently used tools, countdown list, mandalart and recent emojis are kept in your browser storage (localStorage). They stay on your device and are not sent to any server.
Clearing cookies and site data in your browser removes all of it.
3. Advertising
Dogu Expedition may show Google AdSense ads to cover its running costs. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s My Ad Center, and opt out of other vendors’ personalized ads at aboutads.info. Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used.
We do not show ads on tool pages that handle sensitive content such as passwords, encryption, certificates or personal information.
4. Service providers
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and anonymous usage statistics
- Google LLC — advertising (Google AdSense)
- jsDelivr — delivery of processing engines and font files (CDN)
- ExchangeRate-API — exchange-rate data
5. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
